AUSTIN, Texas - May 14, 2013 - ProspX, Inc. today named Steve Gold as president and chief executive officer, bringing to the company more than 27 years of executive management experience in commercial insurance as ProspX continues to grow and scale. Co-founder and former president and CEO Todd L. Young will become ProspX's executive vice president responsible for sales, marketing, and business development.
Gold is a proven commercial insurance leader with a strong record of establishing operational excellence and driving shareholder value. As head of commercial sales and marketing for AIG, he directed growth strategies and business planning with major retail brokers across the United States and Canada. He was instrumental in pioneering sales automation technologies to enhance carrier and broker relationships, increasing the visibility of AIG's specialty lines and globally expanding the company's major accounts practice. Prior to heading up commercial sales and marketing, Gold was the president and chief executive officer of Accident & Health, the accident and supplemental health market leader.
